In a busy dental practice when taking a periodontal examination it may be useful to bring up previous recordings if not a lot has changed for the patient. Follow the steps below to discover how to do this within your dental software.

First of all open your desired patient.

Now that you are within the patient record, click on the Periodontal button.

You will then be presented with the Periodontal screen (shown below).

To start recording your observations click on the Examination button towards the top left hand corner of the screen.

The following window will appear.

First of all select the performer then define the properties of your examination. To load previous observations check the Load previous checkbox. Click OK to begin your examination.
